International Quality Innovation - Estonia
Both new competition categories that were launched last year in cooperation with Deloitte, responsible innovations and responsible potential innovations, proved very popular. In these categories, entries will primarily be evaluated by their performance in society, in the social context and with respect to the environment. The new categories welcome international entries from all countries that are part of the Quality Innovation of the Year competition.
The winners of these categories will be invited to give a speech at the "Oasis of Excellence" innovation seminar at the expence of the competition organisers.
The other categories are the same as before: Large Companies, SMEs, Micro-Companies, Public Sector and Non-Profit Organisations and Potential Innovations. The Micro-Companies category is also open for individuals. A potential innovation is an idea or invention with a pending financing decision, for example, a project that needs funding in order to be realised. Even small ideas or innovations are welcomed as entries. A national winner will be selected in each category, and an international innovation of innovations will then be selected from among the national winners.
The winner of innovation of innovation category will be invited to give a speech at the "Oasis of Excellence" innovation seminar at the expence of the competition organisers.
All who participate are considered winners, because being involved in the competition inspires and encourages companies and organisations to develop new ideas and innovations. Every participant will receive brief written feedback on their entry to help them further develop their idea or innovation. All information will be treated confidentially, and only the award winners will be publicly announced. The winners themselves will decide how their innovation will be communicated publicly. According to several of the winners, a victory in the competition is valuable to an organization’s marketing activities.
The winners are chosen by an esteemed jury based on the evaluations of experienced assessors and professionals.
